Pillow Cover Making Day!


Saturday, March 23rd – 9am-4pm
This is a day to join the community, and get involved in the POM (Project of the Month) at Makers Lodge. The day will be spent making a quilt block of your choice to turn into a pillow cover (or wall art). 
Included with the facilities:
– Machines, based on your machine choice
– Cutting tables with rotary cutters, scissors, and rulers
– Sewing station box: Sewing clips, darning needles, thread scissors, forceps, seam ripper, soft tape
– Thread cones (multiple colours, but no guarantee on colour)
– Coverstitch machines
– Studio materials: pins, marking pencils, various sewing notions
– Ironing board and Iron
This space booking is for the upper level of the Makers Lodge Studio. Accessible sewing space is available on the lower level.
Coffee, tea, water and light snacks are available. There is a washroom on site.
Lunch may be added to your booking. Sandwich and Salad options are from Taste Blooms in Carleton Place, and will be delivered to you at lunchtime!
Bookings are non-refundable, but are transferable to another sewer.
Note: All sewists booking sewing times must complete a “Meet the Machines” Course at Makers Lodge. If you have not completed the course, it can be booked for the beginning of your sew day. Thank you.
