This is a local modern quilt designer, and the pattern is available as paper or PDF. For ML POM participants, you may use code “mlpickup” to have your paper pattern available for pickup at Makers Lodge. (Any other Penny Spool Quilts paper pattern purchases during the Quilting POM can also use the code for local pick up)
2) Carpenter Star – Calico Carriage Quilt Designs

Studio Times
All Tuesday and Friday Evening Open Stitch Times and Saturday day Open Stitch Times can be used to work on POMs around the community table.
Featured Blanket Knitting Days – Come in and work on your blanket with others!

All sewing space bookings are great times to work on your POM!
There are extra classes during this POM to cover lots of quilting topics!

Pillow Cover Option
No time or budget to finish a large project this winter but still want to get involved?
We will host a mini day on March 23rd.
- Do a FPP block and frame it!
- Make a cabled pillow cover!
- Do a 1 block quilt and finish it as a pillow cover!
- Get creative!
Winter POM Wrap-Up
Date: April 6th 2024
Time: 1-4 pm
Location: Makers Lodge, 428 Ramsay Concession 8
After spending 2 months making these cozy projects to wrap up in, this will be a time to celebrate the finished pieces!
Awards will be given to the pieces here for the presentation.
Share with the community what you have made, what you learned along the way, the fibres used, and where the piece will end up once completed!
Entries to the POM Prize
Regardless of which POM you choose to participate in (or both!), make sure you remember to post your project to social media and tag us for a chance to win! All posts that meet the criteria will be entered for a chance to win the prize for that POM.
Criteria:
1) Materials for the POM must be purchased from Makers Lodge or Happy Wife Quilting to qualify (notions and tools are exempted).
2) Each post must tag Makers Lodge appropriately (Facebook: tag Makers Lodge; Instagram: tag @makerslodgecp AND tag us in your photo; for both, use hashtags #makerslodgecp #makerslodgepom). You may also enter by posting to the Makers Lodge: Virtual Makespace group on Facebook.
3) Posts must be made by April 5th, 2023.
4) Prizes and contest are in no way affiliated with Facebook or Instagram.
