Sewing Machine Maintenance with Skipped Stitches

Date: Saturday February 22nd, 1 pm – 3 pm

Are you frustrated by your machine? Does your machine behave nicely for others but it seems to have it in for you? This class will help decode your sewing machine for you. We will start off by learning about how a machine makes a stitch and what can cause it to not make that stitch properly. We will talk about common issues with machines and what they might be caused by. We will also go over basic cleaning for your machine (and will clean our machines). We will troubleshoot any issues you might be having. While this course will focus on modern Juki machines, any machine brand and age are welcomed .

Bring your machine, your manual, examples of any problems you have been having, a fresh needle and thread/fabric for testing.

(Note that you will not be learning to preform full maintenance on your machine in this class)
