Emma's Winter Bundles - Charity Sew Day

Sunday, October 27th, 10-4pm @ Makers Lodge, 428 Ramsay Concession 8

10am – 4pm You can come for all or part of the day.

Lunch will be provided.

This sewing day is guided by Emma, of Emma’s Winter Bundles and Christine, from Makers Lodge.

This sew day was hosted last winter and it was such a success that we just couldn’t resist doing it again!

Level: Advanced beginner

Skills: Following a pattern, cutting fabric, sewing on a sewing machine, topstitching

Ages: 10+

All supplies are provided by Emma and Makers Lodge.

Included with the facilities:

– Machines

– Cutting tables with rotary cutters, scissors, and rulers

– Sewing station box: Sewing clips, darning needles, thread scissors, forceps, seam ripper, soft tape

– Thread cones (multiple colours, but no guarantee on colour)

– Studio materials: pins, marking pencils, various sewing notions

This space booking is for the upper level of the Makers Lodge Studio. Accessible sewing space is available on the lower level.

Coffee, tea, water and light snacks are available. There is a composting toilet washroom on site.

We are not booking by blocks or machine types. Please put a note in your booking if you prefer to bring your own machine.
