Day Sewing at Makers Lodge

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON BOOKING
Daytime – Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, 9am-4pm
Open sewing time in the Makers Lodge Studio! A staff member is in the studio and intermittently available for assistance or guidance.
Wednesday Sew Days- Christine will be sewing these days and the shop is not open to the public. See blog “resources” for the schedule of projects for these days.
Included with the facilities:
– Machines, based on your machine choice
– Cutting tables with rotary cutters, scissors, and rulers
– Sewing station box: Sewing clips, darning needles, thread scissors, forceps, seam ripper, soft tape
– Thread cones (multiple colours, but no guarantee on colour)
– Coverstitch machines
– Studio materials: pins, marking pencils, various sewing notions
– Ironing board and Iron
Skill Requirements:
– independent use of the machine type booked
This space booking is for the upper level of the Makers Lodge Studio. Accessible sewing space is available on the lower level.
Coffee, tea, water and light snacks are available. There is a washroom on site.
Lunch may be added to your booking. Sandwich and Salad options are from Tea and Cake in Almonte, and will be delivered to you at lunchtime!
Bookings are non-refundable, but are transferable to another sewer.
Please select “in studio bookings” or “local pick up” as shipping method.
